“There comes a time when silence is betrayal.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

Our world is in pain. Events across the U.S. in the last couple of weeks have brought a renewed national and global focus to the inequity, police brutality, and systemic racism perpetrated against Black people in our communities, leaving many of us feeling outrage, anger, and sorrow.

As an Organization, we wholeheartedly add our voices in solidarity with yours. Black Lives Matter.

As an organization dedicated to empowering young women leaders to create a new world, we are acutely aware of the impact those in leadership have on their communities, as we strive to ensure that women’s voices have a powerful seat at the table of global leadership. Today, we stand with our Black fellows, coaches, partners, and supporters. We know that the new world we long to see cannot exist if Black women are not equally represented. We acknowledge we have a lot to learn in how to best support, empower and enable our Black leaders.

At The Coaching Fellowship, we are renewing and intensifying our efforts to elevate Black women and create a more inclusive environment both within our programming as well as our team. We are committed to learning, listening, and taking action. We will use our platform to celebrate the successes, impact, and voices of Black women in our community.

We also recognize that words are not enough. As a team, we are committed to action, and are putting together a plan for very specific next steps we will take to do our part in dismantling systemic racism. We promise to keep you informed as we identify more ways to elevate Black women through The Coaching Fellowship.

In Resolute Solidarity,

The Coaching Fellowship Team
