We take a stand as a global sisterhood.

Today we celebrate our sisters. We honor those who have done and still do so much to bring women and girls forward. We remember how much there is still to do, and how far we have come.

We are thankful for all the women leading and standing strong in their organizations, communities, families, and the world.

Together we make up the largest community of established and emerging women leaders committed to social change. Collectively we are defining and practicing the kind of leadership desperately needed to create a new world with peace, equity and potential at its core.

We Are Impact First

We choose to use our time and talents to benefit society and the world at large. Be that working to solve the climate crisis or fighting hunger, poverty and bias, or as humanitarians, activists and much more. We are all united by the difference we make, and by our collective vision of a future that is fair, just, and can sustain every living thing. We think before we act, and count the number of lives impacted for the better as the measure of a good day’s work.

We Are Better Together

We understand and embrace the power of many heads, hearts and hands. We appreciate our differences in perspectives and backgrounds. We know the value of diversity and seek to come together to both create and heal. We are aware that we cannot know and do everything, so we build alliances and communities. We share our voices to be heard, and our shoulders to lift each other up.

We Are Cultivating Resilience

We prioritize self-care and know when it’s necessary to stop, rest, and restore. We acknowledge and use the power of our strengths. We know our value and our worth, and we take time to celebrate our achievements and success. We practice compassion and kindness with ourselves as much as we do with others. We know our wellbeing in mind, body and soul is directly equal to doing our best work.

We Are Lighting Tiny Fires

We know the road to progress happens in small steps. It is not always the magnitude of the action, rather the accumulation that builds until it cannot be ignored. We try and fail, and tomorrow we come back stronger. We move forward every day. We focus on the ripple, not the sea. We spread the word, paving the way for positive, sustainable change, and bringing others with us.
