Meet the Fellows (Video) — Sophia Hage, MD, Sports Medicine Specialist, Clinic Manager, MediFit

Sophia Hage, MD, Sports Medicine Specialist, Clinic Manager, MediFit

Sophia is a Medical Doctor, a Sports Medicine specialist and Clinic Manager at MediFit. Passionate in women’s issues, she co-Founded Selamatkan Ibu, a movement on maternal health, and Lentera Sintas Indonesia, a support group for sexual violence survivors.

What does learning mean to you in the context of coaching? Like many of our fellows, Sophia entered our program with an idea of what a coach would be for her, and quickly realized where the answers to her questions truly came from: within herself.

Sophia’s insight into the coaching process is truly enlightening, and something we feel is vital to share with our community. She took the time to be vulnerable and courageous, and with that courage she has made such an impact in her field: from founding Lentera Sintas Indonesia, a support group for sexual violence survivors, to launching her own sports medicine clinic, MediFit.

One of the most important questions some fellows grapple with is how to make time for coaching, especially considering many fellows are going through important life transitions during the program. Sophia’s sound advice is one of the many reasons we are proud to call her an alumna, and we encourage you to watch her video to learn how you can get the most out of the program, just as she did.

Sophia knows the experience of learning and discovering your potential never stops, even when the program is over. We are so grateful she shared her insight with us, and congratulate her on all she has done!
